Have you ever thought what the labels tell while you are busy picking organically grown food, or so as these companies claim? No? This might not be an alarming issue but it is always good to know your food before you assume that it is organic. While you may be thinking that you are giving your body the best of what it wants – organic and wholesome nutrients, there is something which may not have gained your attention yet. So, basically companies claiming to sell organic or natural products are actually shying away from admitting the fact that there are certain chemicals which they use in manufacturing of the product. So why such false claims? In an attempt to catch attention brands are emphasizing on words in bigger fonts stating the purity of the products.
This is called misbranding and a lot of companies are facing lawsuits because of usage of chemicals and artificial ingredients which are stated on the label. These are basically preservatives, flavoring elements and coloring chemicals. Quaker Oats which claims to sell 100% natural products is now facing court issues as its deceptive labelling has come to notice. While the company has claimed in big words that the products it offers are 100% natural, upon further investigation the label revealed the truth, surfacing traces of glyphosate. Now the company has been alleged for using such harmful chemicals in its products. Quaker Oats is now facing class action allegation. Indeed it is not morally correct to claim a product as organic or natural when it has to undergo some proportion of chemical processing. If you are opting for organic food supplements online remember to read the label before opting for it.
